Video Editing;

On my completed video i used many effects such as ; woman screaming, door opening and the music i used was ; thunder rain and ghostly music.

the reason i used these sound effect and music because it made it sound more effective and more like a horror and i also used it to make impact on my video and to create tension.

Horror...

this is a horror movie which was originally filmed by some students in my class and then we had to put the shots together and edit them and we had to use some of the following techniques ; continuity, sequence, establishing shot, cut in, eyeline match, action match and quick cut.

in my film i used black & white, cross dissolve and put a timer to make it look a little more scary ;

150 word article;

we had to write a 150 word article aboout katy perry and russell brands wedding so here it is;

Katy Perry and Russell Brand recently had their wedding, but whilst this occasion is taking place it gets gate crashed by a tiger. Although after the wedding Russell buys Katy a tiger which was quite a bit of money but then Katy took the tiger and left it at the tiger park and gave the centre park the money to use for the tigers. The couple wanted to sell the wedding pictures but have been told it’s not going to happen. Russell wanted to keep their wedding between him, Katy, friends and family. The pair was still celebrating their union, as Katy turned 26. As well as the tiger, Russell was also said to have given Katy a ruby ring which is said to possess ‘protective powers’. They were also told by a fortune-telling parrot that both bride and groom would live long life, long marriage and long successful careers.

I have made a few changes in my work now;

heres the progress of the 3 page design so far (only 2nd & 3rd page)

the first picture is of the 2nd page and the second picture is of the 3rd page and this is my work and its just the beginning. The way I did this was by using InDesignand i have highlighted a few pieces of text and inserted little pictures and wrap the text around it.

Now Im going to explain how I made this piece of work:

firstly we had to open up a new A4 document on photoshop and then go on the internet and go on google and find an appropriate picture for the front cover of the magazine that I was going to create and then add all the text and edit the pictures, etc.
